Lol I know it's do-able on HT just didnt fancy being shaken to death  on all the wheel swallowing breaking bumps/holes on the section I rode on the demo loop, that's my excuse anyway :shh: .
Doubt will have my new bike by then so will prob be on the trusty HT anyway :D

I rode Cannock last Thursday.

It was dry and fast, the braking bums aren't that bad one or two big ones and there was one bad bit of fire road that was loose and fast! That is got a big tank slapper on.

I was on my full sus bike but everyone I saw was on hard tail and were skipping the black sections.
I was thinking of bring my hard tail next time UNTIL I came across the first proper black stage that included some rather steep trails and a 2ft drop off just after a 180 bend. it may have been it was my first time there and/or I was riding solo but it seemed a bit difficult for a XC loop and would have gone a miss at FOD etc.

It is also worth noting there are some section closed due to free felling. but come Easter they are opening a all new trail section :high5: . I got chatting to the trail builder that by all accounts have been busy.
