1 loop = Tea/Coffee (maybe)
2 loops = Tea/Coffee & Crispy Bacon Baguette
Bedgebury = Bacon & Cheese burger & beer treat. :high5:

Take your pick boys

Really Kieron... It's a completely flat ride... in fact I think the loop may be down hill from start to finish

So quick check list in case I don't get a chance to post it tomorrow ;)

Meet Thurrock Services at 8:00 am

Drive to car park in Ightham....

Google maps link to both and route - https://www.google.co.uk/maps/dir/Thurrock+Service+Area,+Grays,+United+Kingdom/51.2858892,0.2812617/@51.2890585,0.2682614,13z/data=!4m9!4m8!1m5!1m1!1s0x47d8b0c8152d0167:0xee88664af8d51cdd!2m2!1d0.271655!2d51.492367!1m0!3e0?hl=en

Put the car park in your satnav / phone for when we get split up coming through the tolls or you miss the junction on the motorway etc  ;)

Anyone who sent me their mobile has mine

Bring some sort of lunch in case we don't hit a cafe / pub at the right sort of time.

Think parking at Bedgebury is £8 ?? so you'll need cash if we make it that far :wtf:

You know the rest... puntcure repair kit... tools blah blah... weather forcast is good - http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/public/weather/forecast/u105smu0m#?tab=fiveDay&fcTime=1403391600 .... but it could rain anyway so bring a blah blah

If you want .... confirm that you are coming sometime tomorrow then we'll know to wait for you if you are late to Thurrock... don't really want to be ringing people at 8:00 am on a Sunday to see if we need to hang on for another 5 minutes

Links on the first page of the thread... you need to click reverse route on the second loop / link as that's the direction in the route book ;)

I think I read that Bedgebury is now £11.50 for parking - I guess they have to recoup the 100k they spent on the trails some how.

See you all at the services for 8am tommorow! (bleh, early!) i love bedgebury so don't begrudge them the parking fee, but it stings a lot less if you car-share ;)

Does anyone live near Swf ?
I'm up for sharing but can't leave the car at Thurrock as it won't lock :)

Do you need a lift or are you happy to give some one a lift? I should be able to pick you up if it's a lift that you are after. I have a 3 bike rack plus back seats go flat so ample of bike space. 7.30 at yours? dont forget to text me your address.

If Bedgebury is still an option after the 2 loops, I am up for it regardless of the parking fee, I guess its money well spent but we will find out. Its not that I go there every week. It wont be any different if I go next month. I dont mind either way so I am flexible.

DOnt worry about the GPS, viewranger maps show all the trails/bridleway so we cant get lost but we may explore something else by accident. I will have a printout of the map too.

Haha. Someone went to war over a bike ride and won. Hats off.

I am taking the 29er...cos its the only bike I have. Maps are ready chaps...full A4 and plenty of alternative paths if we feel adventurous. I am taking my coolbox with few 'special' drinks in it. Room for more if you wish to keep yours cool. Thats my Wiggle rides experience.
