Haven't read the thread, but just to let you guys know that I was over there today and BKB is shut tomorrow for maintenance.

If you get over to Pitch Hill, ride down to the viewpoint, and look to the left of the metal map. There's a cheeky little trail there - great little steep, loamy trail with a couple of nice drop offs.

Have fun and try not to run into the SERIOUSLY enraged farmer that we met over at winterfold.

Excellent work on enraging a farmer Travis - bonus point to you!

Will hunt out that trail by the viewpoint - do you mean the judges mount thingy?

Cheers!

No, judges seat is over on winterfold. This one is at the pitch viewpoint:

As is de rigueur these days here are my ride bullet points

• 10 secs of riding before someone goes over the bars and destroys of a wheel somehow seemed fitting for an old school ehmtb ride
• Trueing a wheel by jumping on it is fun
• Evil found it a bit to much fun
• Loam loam loam loam loam loam loam loam loam loam
• On a cold day, im not sure arctic Grin would fit down some of the tight single-track with all his layers
• Some of the old school coldharbour tracks are seriously off piste now
• Some of the new school ones are flowy ribbons of goodness
• The new tracks on pitch are steep as you like
• The triple gap track resulted in a double hi 5 at the bottom.. we were very close to a chest bump
• The quality of a track should be measured by the level of whooping on the way down. Go pros should have a whoopometer
• They know how to build berms on the N downs... the ones on the way back to the car were a bit special
• Sir Crashalot crashed a lot
• We broke Tom :high5: ... or more accurately Mr Maxxis and is evil friend Captain Super Tacky broke Tom
• Going for a piss apparently cures cramp
• Finally here is a pic of Joel on the ride today

Image

Highly entertaining ride lads and nice to meet N Tom for the first time

Site admin ;) over and out

Nice pringle.

That last one must be from on top of Nigel's head, it looks like it was taken from the top of a tree!
