Im embarassingly unfit at the moment on the bike, can anyone point me towards the best way to improve this.

I have heard that riding long distance will improve your fitness but im looking for something a bit more structured. Than just ridding as far as I can.

cheers

Spin class there about club about were you can just pay for class no expensive gym membership.

Ride you bike find a hill challenge yourself to get up it if not challenge to get half way.

Get out on rides here, riding in a group will (sper) sp you on.

Work on core. Lots of video on YouTube.

Waits for the fitness couch to turn up it;-)

The simplest and best thing is just get out and ride mate. The more you ride the fitter you get, so its a win - win situation.

If you want professional fitness assistance drop me a pm with your details and we can set something up mate.

But as Laser says ride, ride, ride.

Where are you based ? Got any hills near you? They really build stamina, a bit like interval training. Cycling to work 17 mile round trip really sorted me out.

Good advice from all above.

Improve your diet?, if you put good stuff it you get good stuff out.
interval training, start easy with short intervals and build up over time.

Not great, managed to get out on the bike for a few half hour sessions,
Ive had a presentation to produce for the company CEO for tomorrow. As is usual ended up dowing most of it in my own time including spending half of today preping when I could of been out riding and its just been cancelled :x

Im working on a schedule that spreads across the week doing a bit each day otherwise I wont keep to it especially if i work late etc.

I got given a Turbo trainer and put my hardtail on it, you get to ride your bike as hard as you can for as long as you can and the bonus is, that you can watch the TV. Theres always plenty of 2nd hand ones on ebay.
