The board of California-based Marin Bikes have agreed to sell the company to a European investment firm, they announced this morning.

Not sure if that's good or not. I also see the X-Lite is coming back. They were the bling to have in the 90s until the owners ditched the brand to concentrate on Muc Off.

X-lite

Stuff unused to dream about as a kid!

Always wanted their xlite fly stem, was mega money like £100+ 10 years ago, bought one of eBay for about £8! Last year, made my day!!

Cool. I have a X-Lite seat post but it's a shim only one and keeps slipping so I'm finally ditching it. Might get a few bob for it on Fleabay now., also had some QR's and a few bling bolts pf theirs. Feel old now!

Where is the Dis-like button!!!! Please don't say Marin's of the future are going to be built with a profit margin calculator rather than a someone who knows what a bike should be like!!!!!!!!!!

I loved my 1997 Marin Hawkhill.....

(Not mine but still love them!!!!!)

My current 2010 Marin Hawk Hill is a nice bike and rides really well....

I bought the Rocky Ridge a few years back as an interim bike until I got a DH bike. But its bullet proof and I never ended up getting a DH bike. I just suck it up and puff out my chest and let the bike take the hits.

They built strong like bull.
