So, after a couple of solid hours of building in the rain, michael and me have nearly finished the kicker for one of the first jumps planned.

so it started of by creating a mound of dirt,

and it just got bigger and bigger

forgot to take a picture before we left, and believe me, its even bigger now, we had a landing planned out but are now scrapping it as you will launch way further that the planned 10 - 15ft

This is just par of the run, and plan on adding more large jumps and drops
On the way home, i was just riding up my road and my chain snapped, damn singlespeed :)

I thin it's turing into more like 25foot but I'd like to shorten it with a 3 foot flat bit so incase you come up short its not bye bye bike.

You want some advice? Rip it down and start again without the logs. That wont last 5 mins.

We need a few more people to help with the tree on the far right we would do it ourselves but it's 79foot plus in height and we don't want it going the wrong way.

Fair point the logs do make it easy to pull down. Making it only out of dirt will make it part of the landscape and harder to remove especially when the clay dries it to rock. Easier said than done I know.

Also be careful not to go too bonkers - if you make something that's so large that it attracts attention to the area the other stuff already there may be put at risk. Ive removed any mention of the area from this thread.

Im looking forward to the pics of u guys hitting that

Lol we had a look today, that aint going to work unless you shift half the forest. The ground is to loamy to much in the way and fooking dangerous. I took some pics will put em up at some stage. As for being discreet, Brad pointed out that not to far way is where some tree cutting has been going on. Cannot fault the effort and gladly be proved wrong, just wondering how easy the air ambulance can land
