The dh bike is in need of a new chain and block.

Currently running the classic sram 9 speed block out back which goes all the way up to 32t.

Will still be using x0 derailleur and x9 shifter.

So for those with dh rigs would you recommend going for the dh style closely spaced block and if so any ideas on the best to get in terms of price versus longeveity.

Yo bday boy

I run a 34 on the back of mine - i swapped out the tight block to allow me to do a bit of pedalling between lifts and across ridge lines in the alps - I seems to work well. What hubs are you putting it on? Not needed for the UK but it hasnt caused me an issues riding here.
