if you are going for a hub get a hope evo pro they will adapt to any fork

These work the wrong way, i dont have a 20mm hub, i have 20mm forks ;)

this is the sort of thing i need, but it would mean drilling the forks for the grub screw which i'm a bit reluctant to do

If you read the CRC link properly you'll see it specs both ways!

i agree i wouldn't drill either.

i would speak to dan at stanley bridge he built my front wheel with a hope evo pro and you've seen me huck everything in sight with no issues whatsoever

Just fitted the new Shimano Zee 'Clutch' Derailuer & shifter, very impressed, feels super smooth and shifts easier and of course less chain slap. Cant really see why its worth paying a lot more, about double to get the Saint stuff instead of Zee although I guess its a bit stronger.
