Realy want to come as sounds liek it owuld be good for a first trip to danbury, but the train services are all over hte place that day so not gonna be able to make it :(, there would be nothing on the way home til 10.30pm :shock: and that was searching for trains back from half 2 onwards...

Not too big of a fan of mince pie. maybe bring a small bbq? or is that going to give us troubles with forestry/land owner?

The Forestry Commission wont thank you for lighting fires in the forest. You might get away with it in the car park.

Plenty of Christmas alternatives to mince pies - Christmas pud with brandy butter?

too cold? its never too cold. my current bbq record is set @ -32 degrees
