We used dead branches which were more than effective

You can park down the residential road opposite the main enterance no probs
1 thing....if trails are a 'mud pit', please dont ride them. if its wet, the trails suffer massivly. Im not trying to be a dick...its just I spend hours sorting out my trails after people ride them in the wet.

True true

One thing we did notice on Sunday was a pretty hefty amount of litter - down there - I know its wasteland but might be worth organising a clean up sometime?? and making sure the local kidz are aware that a litter problem is always used as justification for shutting down sneaky local spots.

Yeah, I noticed that last time.
I filled a carrier bag, but it didnt make a dent!
It seems to be one of those spots that kids head to to hang out. They dont get the ethos of trails.
I dont know who 'owns' the trails (wrong word, but you know what I mean). Maybe sorting out a sign advising about taking rubbish home and helmets??
I dont know the trails that well....would it last? Or get kicked down?

There is 1 sign with 1 side syaing - no lid no ride, and the other with no litterng, but only realy small, up high on a tree, and not that visible - also it is down in the 'freeride area' so if you come in up the top and only use the djs your not gonna see it

that ones lasted (probably cos getting up the tree to it would be hard), jsut i dont think many people pay attention cos of the reasons above

1 at each enterance would be good, but i dont think it would last to long
