Yea the top shore section which was closed off is totally reworked.. some massive d jumps have appeared and ladder alley has been rebuilt. Some really nice additions to the top section of the park. The wall ride is sweeeeetttttt too

Will have to get back there this year, preferably when dry!

Is there any way to change the news feed post times on the main page? It doesn't take your board preferences and shows your last post as 4.38am.

Been a bit manic this week and not got around to posting. It was a wicked couple of days last weekend.
Awesome riding, great company and good food/beer, cheers guys

Cwmcarn was super dry, almost a bit too loose and sketchy. We managed 10 uplifts through the day, hitting the red, rooty and black top sections, and a couple of runs down the final part of the XC loop which we hadn't done last time, real good fun blast flat out

After Cwm Nige, Jon, Tom and me headed down to Dorset for UKBP the next day.. nice 'spirited' drive down in Nig's Type R (cheers dude!)
Jon got us booked into a great pub/B&B about 10 mins from UKBP, a fat dinner and a few pints of Dorset's finest (Badger) had us sorted at the end of the day.

UKBP was a public/practice uplift for the race on Sunday.
Again completely dry with a sketchy loose top layer. The park had had a fair bit of work done since we were last there: The shore at the top has gone, new line off the start which was been used for the race with some nice berms and sweet wallride. There is a new big jump line with slope style roll/drop in off the start tower which wasn't quite finished, and some nice non gapped wooden kicker/launches down next to ladder alley, and a revamped 4x track, but that was pretty cut-up from the really wet race weekend a few weeks earlier.
The DH runs were all pretty much the same, Darkside seemed a bit un-ridden and had a really loose surface, just didn't flow any where near as nicely as last time. Big grin was good and the race run was running wicked.. the amount of riders hitting it sorted the surface out a bit.

Managed 10 crazy truck uplifts at UKBP too, so by the end of the 2 days bikes and bodies were pretty beat up, after the dodgy spoke loosening my back wheel was wobbling like jelly... some new wheel builds with pimp-tastic white rims on the way tho 8-)
And respect to Jon for riding the rest of the trip after the crash at Cwm, went down pretty damn hard!
