Hey, i was wondering what stem to put on my rockrider 8.1 (don't judge me!) and if i could have any recommendations?
The one it comes with is a bit too long and i saw your comments on the thomson stems but they're a bit too much for me. I was thing like a 60-80mm one? Any ideas? Thanks :)

Hope do nice stems in various lengths and colours in 25.4 and 31.8 handle bar clamp size or look at...

But remember changing the stem will alter the steering geometry and does affect handling, a shorter stem will shift your weight and center of gravity back slightly. And a shorter stem means you move the bars through a smaller arc to acheive the same turn of the bars therefore steering will feel quicker and twitchier for a while untill you get used to it. The opposite affect is the longer and lower the stem is, the bike will handle with more stability. :)
