Would you replace them yourself?
If so what sort of components would you guys like to be produced / supplied at reasonable prices?

places like Superstar etc supplying pedals and brake pads etc and are all simple enough for the average rider to replace, but what else would you like to see and be able to get hold of easily and superstar cheap?

I would like to see things like blingy brake leavers, brake mounts and definatly better priced cranks and cassettes?

Just asking like :shh:

Cant say Ive ever had a problem getting hold of bits. I do as much as I can myself, but there is a few bits that I dont have tools for, so whizz down to my local shop which Ive been using for 18 odd years and he whips things off for me.
Im not one for blingy shit, if it works, thats all I need.

Fair enough, I was thinking about tarts like me who like to change things often and like to have colour matched bits.

Do most things but gear cables always give me problems... Superstar do most things now at good prices.. Some like them some don't. I like functional things and items that do a job but better than oem oh and look good...

Bottom brackets, chain devises, stems, handle bars (coming soon to superstar ;-) ) , seat posts etc etc etc...

I've always found the pads to be pretty good?
Fancy spanking new bars then?

I've had 4 sets of pads from superstar all sintered type.. Found the wear to be good on these. Importantly it stopped the noisy squealing from the juicy 3 set I had.. They howled in the wet, but better now. Also had a free set of fibrax pads that did wear quicker..

The bars VW I see them showing on Facebook page.. So soon to be released.. And yep they are looking nice.. Even a green set for you ;-)

Just make sure you bed them in properly before going out on a ride, dont want to be flying into a corner and not stopping!

I saw the bars on FB, but if there anything like there seatposts i'll give them a miss, nice design but heavy as hell!
