I dont think its a GT, although it does have a GT seat clamp !

The only other bikes i can find right now with a 'x' in the title is a carrera banshee x and a haro x3 but the frames look different, unless its an older model ?? The downtube looks like a Kona Stinky but the shock mount doesnt ??

The X3 and any serial number under the bottom bracket are pretty much the only clues. I was thinking the paint job on the top tube looked a bit oldschool Giant but can't find any old x3 with a swing arm like that. What about the front of the headtube, any signs of branding on there?
The shock looks like something of a Apollo or Carrera.

Nice one ! seems to be older than 2008 as its no longer listed on the Apollo bikes website.

I'm not much of a mechanic, but I think putting downhill forks on a £10 bike is a recipe for disaster! Firstly because the front and rear suspension won't exactly be matched, but more importantly because they'll probably rip the headtube off!

Build it up as a cheap runaround by all means, but personally I wouldn't set it up as a downhill bike!
