So after 2 years ive had some play develop in my front hub over time... no matter how hard I cranked up the maxle there was some wobble. I read somewhere that it could be due to the bearings. They were a bit knotchy so I thought id replace them. All the kit to do it from hope would have cost £30 - Sod that I thought ill see what I can find in my shed.

1 rubber mallet
1 24 socket
1 large screwdriver
2 cheap ebay bearings (we will see how long they last)

5 mins later and £5 spent id managed to bash out the old bearings and whack in the new ones in - (front hub)

The old bearings had worn thin - thus the play - new ones are smooth as silk and no play

It was much easier than I thought :) I was so pleased with myself I had to post up here lol

Nice one. I did debate doing mine, but last time I tried to 'sort' the bearings in a hub I screwed it up, so off to Hope it went!
