After much delay due to illness and other things the frame arrived this morning, now to figure out how to "work" from home and build a bike with a toddler running round!

Not great so far, taken me an hour and a half just to get the cranks, chain ring and chain guide fitted due to lots of tweaking to get it running smoothly. more work tonight and some pics soon

Looking forward to the pics but from the photo Jon posted up I am sure it will be sweeeeet.

Where did you manage to get a demo ride, through Freeborn?

just finished and taken it for a spn. surprisinggly nimble and responsive.

Still waiting for a couple of things - new stem and some tasty white low rise, super wide bars!

Have to say mate that looks really really nice - a set of wide bars will really finish that off sweetly

That looks sweet mate. You going to keep the single crowns long term or get some triples?

Be warned ... I might steal your shock... and brakes... they are both next on my shopping list!

Just took it down the local woods and all it wants to do is go very very fast. So stable and yet nimble. Awesome.

Nice one - a good sign of a quality 4 bar is that it pedals well. They dont tend to bob and bounce much. Probably can run it with not much lsc which will make it uber plush.

How did you find the monster bars?

what geo settings do u have it in?

Geo setting is stock dh which seems good but maybe a little low in the bb height for anything rocky.

super wide bars and new stem give me a great position for not going flying over the bars.

cant praise it highly enough and taking it out again tonight with the intention of taking all the cut down logs and forming a tasty log garden.

It looks frikin bad ass with all the new gear - It will get a nice work out on its first day in action

im thinking maybe -

pleney
left off the lift
the tennis court run
the golf course
this is carnage - named after tom
the gully run
forest gump
and finally the nauchet black run

rekon we can fit that in an afternoon and you've only done 2 of those - that will shake it out
