Good ride though. It seems that I was not the only one to get the angry look  . I wasted the whole Sunday apparently. As I am new to this, eventually my other half will get used to this but it seems that Adam may disagree with me. Next time she will make take the kids with me.

Aaahh crap sorry guys :o(

Sorry for all the grief with the bike, but thank you all very much for helping in my time of need....

Can't believe we only clocked up 14 miles, looking forward to doing it again, but will need to buy a load of parts... Rear mech, Granny ring, Chain, and a rear wheel !!! LOL

Not that much grief Jon my missies is used to it. ( it was the lack of communication apparently not the being late :) ) With me out all day at lectures I'll need to earn brownie points on Sunday :) otherwise I would be out and only miss bday weekend.
Good to meet you guys. I'll be out on the 24th

Nah, no grief at all. To be honest, It would have been the same even if I had come back 2hrs earlier. It was one of those days.

Look on the bright side, it's a good excuse for some upgrades.

You could show your other halves this thread so they may understand it was neither of your faults.
