Just thought I would mention the ride sunday am.. It was a short ride being around 2 hours as I had to get home for an afternoon at the royal albert hall. There was only three of us, Me greg and Alan but was thoroughly enjoyable and remarkably dry conditions. Popped into the cafe at the end and bumped into Damo and his crew just as we were leaving. Nice to put a face to a name and look forward to seeing you guys again, just sorry I had to shoot off a bit lively.

You take the slip road at halfway house onto the 128, turn left towards brentwood and then 1st left about 2-300m and imediate right into the carpark. You can then see the cafe on the green. Talking to Damo he reckons the jumpy section is quite dry and some work has been done also so I might investigate very soon.

It was a very pleasant ride not having to slog through Epping mud with the added bonus of a nice sit down in the cafe at the end. A good choice for winter xc rides and those who love a good bread pudding lol.
