Hello,

Does anyone on here live in the vicinity of Walthamstow?

Looking for folk local to me to ride with on Sunday's. Usual spots are: Epping Forest 20/30mile xc loop (on xc bike), Aston Hill, Chicsands, Peaslake, Swinley (on the Enduro bike).

Hi Neale,

I'm in South Woodford and my xc ride tends to start just north of Hollow Ponds, up to Bell Common in Epping and back down the the eastern side of the forest, 27 miles being my usual loop. Ride solo but would welcome the company, most especially when doing night rides in the summer. Having said that I haven't ridden much yet this year as work keeps getting in the way. Waiting for my Pike fork to get back from being serviced and hope to be out next Sunday.

Cool. I'll pm you my number and we can try to organise something. I usually set off on a Sunday about 9/9:30. My xc bike is having a service at the moment, will have it back next week. Got my Enduro bike but it's shit in Epping when it's wet. Thinking of doing Chicksands or Aston hill on the 3rd of April if your up for that?

My usual loop is from the water works to Epping and back. I've fallen in to a rut with the trails I ride so need to get to know a few new ones.

Yo man,

I fell in the Ching the other day and fucked my phone. I'm planning to ride on Sunday if you fancy. Either going to ride Epping, Aston hill or Chicsands.

I'm fairly close to you guys and live in forest gate near Wanstead flats. Quite often ride Aston hill (racing on the 17th April) and often around in Epping forest. Send me a pm if you're heading out!

Going a quick blast tonight if you guys are interested. Going to take the road out to 'Empire Strikes Back' then up to the top of 'South Flow' and back all the way through the forest.

Hey,

Not sure if this thread's still current but I'm in south woodford and I'd be well up for sorting the odd ride or three!

Sundays are good for me and up for Epping, Aston or Chicksands...haven't been on the trail bike for a few months but it'd be great to generate some motivation for the summer with some riding buddies.

cheers

Yo!

How's it going? Yeah the post is still current.

I ride an XC loop on my hard tail on Wednesday evenings and once the forest is dry I'll do more of the good stuff. Generally starting about 6:30pm and I try to get to one of the more decent places on a Sunday... However I don't have a car anymore.... Lifts required. I'm signed up to DriveNow but it's expensive about £70 a trip to Aston hill so if your able and willing to give lifts I'm totally happy to contribute.

I am going to ride Epping this Sunday if anyone is around? Just back from riding Glentress so too broke to do anything else.

I have to work on Sunday. However I could be up for riding about 7/7:30 pm, weather dependant.

Epping was fast on Sunday past and if it can hold off till this Sunday it'll be ripe for shredding.

Yo!

Should be home, fed and watered by 7pm tonight if your still up for riding?

Thinking to head along new Epping rd and cut down Whitehall rd to start from there. Thinking to climb up towards Jacks hill and back.
