I've not ridden Epping for about a month but I'm pretty sure it'll be fairly muddy by now... but that should just add to the fun ;)


I'll make the route up depending how muddy it actually is :lol:



We ride for about 4 hrs ( maybe a bit longer ) and cover about 20 miles ...

Evening all, I'm new to the forum and based in Saffron Walden, does anyone ride out of this or the Bishops Stortford Area?

Would love to meet up with a regular group of weekend riders.

New to MTB with my first proper ride earlier today.

I have a Boardman team 650b - http://www.halfords.com/cycling/bikes/m ... -650b-2014

In the spec it says 'Avid Elixir 3' brakes but mine is fitted with 'Avid DB3's' - I called Halfords and they said they are the same system just a different name, can anyone confirm this for me? Can't seem to find too much on the ...

Hi! I'm about to buy new set of wheels for my bike and I was wondering if they will fit on it. On the specialized website says that my bike is 135mm but I measure today and is showing me 15cm that if I'm not wrong that should've be 150mm? Hi! Today I did a silly jump and didn't manage to clean it all so I end up hitting it half-way through, breaking 2 spokes and untrue wheel and little bit dented! I was wondering if undented the part that is dented(see the picutre below) it will be the wheel lose some strength on it since is pretty close where the wheel get attached together.

So usually use car products to clean the bike! As i was over Swinley I noticed they had some for sale so I thought "why not" I'll buy some & try it! Spray on leave for 5 then rinse off, Very impressed with the results as did not use a brush , just the hose to rinse off! Had alot of silt all over the drive chain , came off with ease ...

Seeing as it looks like it will be dry tomorrow want to get to swinley. Aiming to get the for 9ish for 930 start rideing time, might try for two laps. Got space for one other person and bike with me
