I've discovered a small hairline crack on the rear triangle on my frame yesterday and because a new triangle cannot be sourced the shop will be replacing the whole frame.

So far so good but the new frame has been updated from the last year and as a result is slightly different. the main issue is though that It has direct mount front mech instead of the conventional which the old one had.

I need money so the seat post has to go as it was a nice luxury and I will miss it but needs must.

I'd say it's new/used becasue it's just come back from warrenty with brand new internals and quill as stated in the warrenty returns letter I can supply.. The outer seat post that goes into the frame is original and has hardly a mark on it since I've not used it that ...

Hi all, I'm early 40's and currently doing well with bike fitness!

Just got a 29er and am more Xc oriented than anything else, but am up for a bit of downhill,action, if it comes along.....!

I used to live in Waltham abbey, and rode the forest for years before moving up here....I still get down that way via the canal, so am keeping an eye on the calendar. I work funny shifts though, so ...

I have just booked myself on to the Wiggle Southern Rough Ride on the 3rd March, doing the 25 mile option.

Just fancied going somewhere different and figured these are well run generally.

If anyone else is doing this let me know.

Hi,

I'm going on my first ski/snowboard holiday next year and also having started to get into MTB I'm wondering if anybody uses one set of knew/elbow pads for both sports?

I've been told to look at the forcefield stuff as they offer gear across all sports.

Does anybody have any experience using MTB pads for Snowboarding, or vice-versa?
