I'm keen to keep it as close to London and as XC as possible. Braintree sounds good but a bit far, always wanted to try Epping and the others I don't know! Looks like everyone's pretty divided...i will go where the numbers take me! More mud the better I say, christen this bike good and proper :)

If u want mud then epping has plenty at the moment,although don't get caught taking ur bike through the living room like i did lol,she was not happy :)

Can't get out tomorrow to join you all :( and i know this should be a different thread but if anyones local to langdon, i'm there this afternoon/early evening looking to climb 3000ft in readyness for wednesdays escape to the surrey hills :D with beardee, sruf ev and bum.

09:30 @Braintree station, drive through :arrow: carpark to back and park by start of the Flitch Way (green arrow)
Parking is 50p all sunday.

Oh and the big building you see in front of the carpark (swimming pool) aint there anymore.. in case your using that as a marker to find the place... :o :o :o

:) Same bike but a little cleaner. It's an old Hardrock Pro in black. Probaby won't be many other people at Rayne at that time in the morning so hopefully I'll be easy to spot.

Ok turns out theres no train that can get me there before 10 after all and it's a 50+ ml drive (bit much for that time on a sun morning)...anyone doing Epping?!

Good ride today along the Flitch Way... A few stops a puncture and tube change along the route in the group..

Almost going over the bars at the end due to stupid dog owner and those retractable flipping leads :evil: :evil: Ftwat!!!! and only rained on last few miles :D :D :D

all mileage and build up to the Langdon hills MSG race :thumbup: :thumbup: :thumbup: :thumbup:

Yeah was good. Good to meet some more people. Sorry about the tube. I'll order some replacements this evening. Ended up doing 37 miles with my diversion to Notley park.
