I rode the course at the weekend... stage 2 is a bit rubbish as there are so many places to get lost so might scrub that one and find a replacement. i have a few vids ill be getting up shortly...

Hi,
I will have to see following.

Will I still be alive (after Sundays stroll out at Firth Hill.
Wiether my over half will let me out two week ends in a row .
Overtime on a Sunday. ( lose to much .( Wont know till the Thurs before )


Was thinking the MSG Bunker . Bacon a good tempt though .

Ok so to reiterate the key details....

  • Date - Sunday the 14th of July.
  • Location - Meet @ Carls Tea hut - High Beech Epping Forest. All the info you need to find it can be found here http://www.essexhertsmtb.co.uk/mtb-trai ... forest.php
  • Time - Leave High Beech @ 9.30 for the first stage. ill be there from 9ish in bright yellow shorts having a cuppa by Carls... you wont be able to miss me the shorts are ludicrously loud.
  • Duration - About 3 hours - 5-7 stages.
  • Timing - You time yourself and at the end of each stage your time is recorded.
  • Entry cost. - None apart from having a stopwatch on you somewhere.
  • Prizes - A bacon buttie. Possibly might throw in a cup of tea as well ;)

I might have just dropped out of this due to a clash of interests with the missus. Need to be at a bbq in Milton Keynes by 1 ! But I'm still going to Epping just getting there earlier, leaving Benfleet about 7.30 and will entertain myself round the course for fun. Sorry :-(
