Hi all,

I'm going to Danbury for a change to my local trails.

Will be at the carpark close to the Crickets pub on the Bicknacre Road.
Feel free if any of you feel like joining me.

The catch part; meet @ 9:15am for 9:30am start.
Not too fast pace, slow enough to enjoy the country side........
Hoping to get 12 to 16 miles under the wheels.

Trev.

Hi,

Feel free to join me will be a nice mornings ride, 1-2 hours may be??
Danbury has a good mix of ups, downs, jumps, sandy, can be muddy in places, woods, heathland & more trees.
Plenty of scope for a good ride at any pace.

Sorry I missed you - this morning was a total abortion! - Can I go back to bed and start again?

Couldn't find the car park - when I did I was 40 mins late - left my snacks at home - bottle holder broke so water fell off somewhere

No food, no water, no other people. :wtf:

Given up - gone home.

Might try again after lunch somehwere closer to home..............

Next week?

Hey XCTai... shame we missed you :(

It was a very enjoyable ride although I only managed an hour and about half of it due to a technical hitch myself..... I'm massively unfit :shh: so what with the need to be alive enough to do other stuff this weekend I bailed before the point where I need to go and lie down in a dark room for a day or two ;)

Nice to meet you Trev and I look forward to the next one

Yes we had fun, hope your recovery is going OK.
When your fit enough we must ride Danbury again, you can show me the hard to find parts
Best regards for a quick recovery. :high5:

Bugeye; Nice to meet you as well, enjoyed our ride round danbury.
A few scraches from brambles, nettals stings & mosies, english country side is great in summer.......
Would you be up for longer ride, a few more hills!!!!!!!
A goal to get fitter for??

Glad you had fun my recovery is up and down :( I think the major infection I had post op has had a massive effect. Ill just be riding by winter :)

Yep the brambles were great especially the bush I landed up on my back in

Definitely up for some longer rides. I'm normally happy to wheeze along at the back for much longer and pay the price later... was just aware that I had to be vaguely fit tomorrow ;)

Hills or in my case, to be more honest.... slight upward gradients are fine, I'm starting to take the view that even when I'm pushing the bike rather than riding it's still do me good
