Post subject:  Anyone planning to ride Epping this weekend?
I'm relatively new to off roading. Looking for a group to tag along with and learn some good routes. Hopefully wont slow you down too much!

I am looking to ride this sunday, but I don't know the trails that well in all honesty just ride the bits i do know if you fancy it drop me a PM otherwise lets hope others pop in who know the area a tad better :)

Sunday suits if anyone rides, be it epping or elsewhere happy to get out.. otherwise i will do my made up road/forest route lol

Hi sorry for the late reply. Thanks for getting back to me. Turns out I can only do Saturday. Me and a pal are gonna head up to Epping for 10:30am If you can make that? If not the following Sunday is an option for me as well. I've never been riding up there before. All I have is an app called viewranger which shows some of the routes, so should be interesting! Hopefully see some of you guys there.

If you have the viewranger app, most of the good sections we used to ride are up on their site, just search for Epping forest and you can download all the route sections I put up there for free.

Nothing off road worth riding around here unless you're a roadie, then there are some good rides.

Hmmm I reckon I know about an hour trail with about 50% off road which is ok
Back of my house
Out by the willows
Into birchanger woods one loop each way
Towards the vets and into the fields
Up towards manuden across the horse track
wiggle your way across into the woods behind the rugby club
Out into Stortford up bedlams lane turn right into the fields
Across the m11 and end up by the flitch way and then duck into hatfield forest
Or stay on the flitch
15-20 miles 2-3 hours:-)
