Bury Rd car park at 10:00am :)

Slightly different to usual for this one.

Plan is muddy climb up to High Beech then carry on north into the Copped Hall Estate. I'm not sure what's there as I've only ridden through the southern part called The Warren. Could be good could be nothing... we'll find out  Then back down the east side of the forest on a mix of fire roads and mud ;)

So a bit more fire road than usual but a change from the quagmire and hopefully a chance to stretch the legs :D

So far me, Ciar and FandaPac... all welcome

Haha :)

I run a slick on my GT Chucker.

I took it off this morning and put my Maxxis Aspens back on. The tread isnt too thick by standard on the aspens, hence the reason why im scared of wheelspinning on Sunday. Im going to ask my dad if i can borrow his Kenda Nevegals, as the tread seems more promising for mud use.

By the way, how disadvantaged would i be if i did the ride on a full rigid. I have a 100mm RST Deuce fork that i could put on, but ive prefered riding this rigid.

Not any more.... some bits on Sunday just weren't funny

The only problem is I won't be able to use my 'slick' Mountain Kings as an excuse for lack of speed or climbing ability... come to think on it I might put them back on :D

Karabbean....

We usually ride for about 3 to 4 hrs... might be a bit longer depending on how lost we get in Copped Hall :eh: There are a couple of points where you can cut it short and head back from if you're short on time

Car park is here http://goo.gl/maps/BFzFT it looks a bit different now as it's in two halves now... rough part and a tarmac part. Either part is fine as you can see one from the other.

I'll be in a blue VW Transporter van.

Rigid forks shouldn't be a problem ( I'm on the look out for some for my 29er ) tyres with some bumpy bits might come in handy but TBH I doubt you'll slow us down ( well me at least :? )

The tyres that i have on at the moment are these. They have never let me down so far. The rest of my bike should be good enough, i have 1 x 8 with a 32t so the hills shouldnt be a problem really.

3-4 hours is fine.

Ill keep an eye out :)

Thanks.
