| Post subject: | Where to train in Brentwood morning/evenings? |
Hi Guys I am new in this club and new in Brentwood, living near the station and I am interested in trainning mtb xc for racing, as i work in London I have only time for train early mornings or evenings, its dark always and i was wondering where would you recomend to cycle on road and off roads, (is it safe? traffic/thieves) If someone is interested to team up for training i will happy to know as well! I used to train in group and its motivating as well. Thank you for your advice! Freddy |

At the moment Thorndon is a mud pit on anything other than the main paths/cinder tracks. I've ended up on the roads a bit but nothing special. There are plenty of country roads to use if you go north of Brentwood (Weald/Onger) and i doult that they get bizzy but still need lights front and rear |

Hi Freddy Often on Sunday am there is a XC ride around Danbury Woods. 2-3hrs depending on the weather and trail conditions. Keep an eye on the postings for the next ride. |

Hi mate I ride in the mornings as I work nights!, sometimes do a loop of Warley or road ride up the Ongar road up to blackmore & back over Abridge way! |

Hi Freddy, Same as you, I live near the station and looking for people to ride with. I know of a few XC routes around Warley, North Weald and Thorndon let me know if you want to meet up one evening/weekend? |
