Not a crumb left behind, wasn't that the unwritten rule of MTB rides?

We all chipped in first time, applied the rule again when he experienced sudden air loss from the rear tube again, but he chose to take the medi vac way out.. We cleared the landing RV point and extraction was executed.. He called in his backup plan...

We continued with the rest of the mission and executed the bacon sarnie manoeuvre with precision and skill... :-)

I finally found the time yesterday to get the back tyre off and have a good look,I found the offending thorn straight through the tyre and into the inner tube,so that's removed and repaired.
Eccles I'm up for car sharing makes sense to spread the costs, I'm busy the next couple of weekends with family stuff but I'll certainly be going to more rides in the future.
Does anyone know if you can still get Kevlar lined tyres to help protect against punctures?

There are various tyre technologies that help prevent punctures (some argue that going tubeless is one). Tyres are a personal thing, depends on the type of riding you do but most of the big brands (Schwalbe, Continental, Maxxis etc), do a puncture resistant version of each of their models.
