Afternoon guys (and girls).

I want to get back to doing the Thurrock loop again on a Wednesday night so am putting it out there to anybody that wants to join.

I'll be taking it easy - it's 24 miles, flat (mostly) XC or tracks. Nothing technical.

We'll set off from Bannatynes Gym on Chafford Hundred at 19:30 and it will take in the region of 2 hours to get round.

THIS IS NOT A FAST RIDE, NEITHER IS IT TECHNICAL, IT IS FOR NEWBYS OR THOSE THAT WANT TO STRETCH THEIR LEGS.

All totally welcome - just let me know here so I know to expect people or not ;)

I can't do Wednesdays but up for a regular weekly ride. I used to do Hockley one week and Danbury the next.
We could move rides between locations

Happy to do whatever - just am constricted by time (as we all are...).

Monday & Wednesday I can ride and then I'll look to do something a little more 'fun' at the weekend...

Im looking at doing something with a bit more Wednesday morning but if that doesnt pan out would be up of this. It was nice and dry before all this rain.
I finally found the path back to the river once you get past the RSPB a few weeks ago, how far along that do you normally go? I came out at the bottom of the road that goes up to Chafford hundred

Its been a while since my last Wednesday night ride, plus that this is a new route for me so I will be keen to join in. Hopefully I dont get delayed at work. Where and when is the meeting point?

Cheers, just noticed that Stumpie had already mentioned it in the beginning. Plenty of time till 7.30 so I should be OK to make it.

Right, weather man says it should stop raining in the afternoon so we're still on!

Meet at the gym as I said before at 19:30. Some sections of the route are crap after rain so we'll do the loop but will go around some bits.

See you there. A drizzle is not gonna put me off, I would not be eating Yorkies otherwise.

This going to be the normal counter clockwise route?

I was thinking as the weather has been poor that I we would go clockwise to be honest Russell - why were you going to join us and then peel off?
