I was thinking as the weather has been poor that I we would go clockwise to be honest Russell - why were you going to join us and then peel off?

Clockwise sounds good, I can then peel off at hornchurch country park. Will try and make it.

It looks like 8pm already outside so I am taking mine. Maybe just one on the handlebars.

I'll meet you at the car park like before. Should be alright weather wise. Going to take a jacket just in case.

Was a Good ride, nice evening for a ride.

Out of interest what sort of gearing were people using? I have a 2x9 with bash and have been getting on ok but haven't ridden with anyone since dropping the big ring. Last night I was in top gear at one point and struggling to keep up despite a higher cadence.

Its an 11-34 cassette and 22/32 chainset.

That sounds like a narrow range to be to be honest, though your chainrings are smaller than mine so..?

But then both of mine are 2 x 10 and 11-36 / 26/38.
