I live in North London and I would like to go for a ride with someone on my new Specialized Rockhopper 29", Epping forest is my first choice.

Welcome.
There are rides posted almost daily on here. Often its an open invitation for all abilities although sometimes it will say fast pace or the nature of the ride will infer a level of fitness or abilty. Stumpy, vwsurfbum and chatman have all led rides I've been on and ensure no one gets left behind and dictate a comfortable pace for the weakest riders. They tend not to ride Epping when doing these but depending on your definition of north London you may have easy access to thorndon, Danbury and Chelmsford.
There care quite a few who do ride Epping and I'm sure they will be along shortly to say hi

Welcome!
I tend not to ride epping too much because the mud scares my bikes.

Come along to any ride, no one gets left behind. Check the calender up in the top right.

Oh thanks, those places might be a little far from my house but I can always get a train, I already saw the calendar and will check it out for cool rides, thanks!

I'm in North London too, (Winchmore Hill) if you fancy meeting up, I've heard Trent Park is ok for MTB rides.

I did Broxbourne/Wormley Woods a couple of weeks ago which was good fun and will be at Epping Forest on Sunday morning.

I'm new to this though so don't expect a fast pace or expert advice!
