That was a good ride. Really enjoyed it. Despite the coldness. First time in ages, and my fitness wasnt as bad as id thought it would be. Im happy with just the one crash today. I pushed my luck more than once. I think having Jon infront of me saved me a few times as i could tell what was coming up. My toes were cooOOOooOooOoooOOOoOoOoOOOoOoooOOLD on the way home. I literally couldnt stand up!

Definitely need to get something sorted out with my gearing on that bike though as hills are impossible. And my brakes are feeling very poor. Not bad though. Lasted 3/4 of the ride.

Evening all its Dave ( I was on the Scott spark The one who lost his shoe). A top set of fellas and it was good meeting you all. Thanks to everyone for waiting - there was a lot of that especially when my mate decided to get "cramp". It was a good ride and a real eye opener my fitness is appalling. I will defiantly be out again so be prepared for more waiting.

Fun ride today guys. Despite the cold it was a good crack. Hardly any rain :) Nice to meet those I hadn't met before.

Thanks Jon for planning and organising and a great bunch to ride with. I think I'll have to get a go pro or something. A lot of slipping and some priceless moments missed due to lack of camera. This was good stuff. All in all, a great day out. Thank you.
