Hi all,

With the inevitable mud heading our way, time to have a bit of fun and get all those afraid of getting a bit muddy out riding the local trails and learning some local trails and meeting other new and older (literately) riders.

Part one of two. Thorndon.
Aim to meet at the Kart track car park for 9:30 meet and aim to get going by 9:45.

Route will be simple to get the eye in, then give the option on certain sections to show more technical sections (please note i'm not teaching skills, only the routes but will happily show you the basics where needed)

Hopefully we'll do a few different loops to give people the option of how many miles they wish to complete.

:high5:

Lol yep they usually are, My boxer I'm bringing will be his first proper outing so not sure how well he'll cope, he's fast over short distances, where as my weinerama is very good but is getting old and grumpy and I think will struggle with distance although he knows his left and rights better than most people.

Go tubeless. Much lower risk of a thorn ruining your ride.
Or carry a spare tube and a patch kit.

^^^ Should always carry a spare tube & patch kit anyway... yesterday I was glad I had a tube even though I've been tubeless for more than a year as I had a spoke go through the rim tape when it broke so only option was to throw a tube in...

You can finish whatever time you like. There are no hard and fast rules.
Last week we finished at 12ish?
