Done it twice, both times up llanberis but back down llanberis first time and Rangers the second. Expect to take 2.5 hours to get up with a lot of pushing and hick-a-biking, 25 mins to get down llanberise or 1.5 hours for the full rangers back to the car park. It's very very exposed so only go if the weather is perfect

Cheers mate. Would you say it's worth the 2 and half hour climb?

If I was being honest for rideing sake no, but for the challenge and the hardest place I have ridden (rangers path) and a bit of an adventure yes yes yes. We came across a quiet a few people walking up the ranger path (so a bit of stopping and ridding sensible is needed) and the shock and response they gave was worth it.

We did get chatting away at a hostel/adventure centre with one of the workers, they did say there was better rideing in the surrounding mountain ranges (which I still intend to do at one point).

I have never done it before, but I am tempted weather dependant.

Would you plan to head up on the weekend or?

I'm easy on what time of week to go as could get time of work but weekend would be better, was maybe thinking about doing Llandegla or somewhere why they. If you fancy it we could just sort it out between us mate

Sounds like a plan. Should be able to wrangle something with enough notice.

I'm not the fastest climber mind, maybe we should meet up for a pre ride to make sure were "compatible" :)

Hello,

Is this still on and can I join? I have been quite interested to ride up Snodown for some time, so if you could share you plans, I can try to join as well.

I am not a fast climber myself but should be able to keep a decent pace.

Don't think a date has been set yet, but I'm sure the more the merrier.

Quite likely I'll be in Norfolk this weekend. Will ride Weyborne or possibly off piste bits of Thetford on Saturday. Anyone is welcome to tag along.
