As above..... Raced there many moons ago, but will be going that way Saturday and intend on having a blast down some of the old routes. Just wanted to know if there's anything new there that's worth a look?? Cheers me dears |

Looked into those hills a while ago and was recommended the black mountains instead. Forest of Dean a short drive away and is superb, highly recommend. Great Dh runs though you need the uplift to get the most out of it. |

Im just gonna go on an exploration one... Father in law lives there, and we're on a visit, so just making the most of it. |

I did the Mountain Mayhem this year with some mates - it's a 24hr enduro in Eastnor Deer Park which is in the Malverns - I won't go into the details. All I would say is that I imagine it'e pretty awesome when it's dry but when it's wet it's mainly clay and it's really sticky. I was running 1.95 full mud tyres and they were still clagging up. So be prepared to get very dirty and have to stop a lot to clear the mud from your tyres / deraillleur. |
