So according to the Echo, there will be some big screens installed outside the XC track at the Castle itself and at the Sally Army tea room (I think), this doesnt appear to be publisced much, I may well go along now..hopefully with bike if rotors from far east arrive in time !

Well..apparently Echo now says there wont be any screens at all..........aprt from a lil telly in the Sally Army tea rooms........very dissapointing !.. A great oppurtunity missed by those in charge.

Shame about the lack of big screens.

There are lots of technical features and most are in a sort of valley so can be viewed without moving around too much. the best features are the rock drops such as deans drop, triple trouble and leap of faith (where i will be working), but best to move around and catch them all. there will be 6 laps for the women and 7 for the men unless uci change it due to weather, so plenty of time to see them all.

I went yesterday amazing day Annie Last done great she was leading for a while the place erupted when she rode past just hope they don't tame it too much after, most of the riders looked like they were on hardtail 29ers
