Why would you carry your bike up a hill - to then either carry it down - or ride down really slowly. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NQmVqxVJvao madness! |

This is a serious case of "I found a great route but brought the wrong bike" on a proper bike those descents would just be a gentle ride |

Cyclo cross riders are a very stange lot and I have met a lot in my time. Why buy a bike that is not great at on road, and almost uless at off road so you then have to carrier it everywhere?? |

Quote: Why would you carry your bike up a hill - to then either carry it down - or ride down really slowly. ..and some may ask why spend 45 minutes pushing a heavy bike up a hill just to ride it down for 2 minutes It's all about the challege: man, machine vs nature (free form or sculptured). Anyway isn't cyclecross just MTB Circa 1980s? Just love the atmospheric music; feels like you are watching an epic in the lines of Dr Zhivago or Ben Hur. |
