Looks like it's being sold:

http://wideopenmag.co.uk/news/21151/uk- ... p-for-sale

I've never been, mainly due to the poor reviews it gets, and the availability of other, superior places within the same distance. With such well run places as BPW, Revolution, Antur Stiniog, Flyup Downhill and CwmCarn (which has just been redeveloped I believe), its no suprise this has happened.

There is an audience there for it, but needs to up it's game to compete....

I'm not really surprised by this but it's still a same. I've been there the once and thought it was probably brilliant 10 years ago when it was all that was available but now there are plenty of uplifts about that are so much better. If a lot of time was spent on it it would be better but I think you would still only go regularly if you lived locally.

It would only work out at £2500 a year, £208 p/m £48.08 per weekend.
I think its a bit of a bargain price TBH but its too far away for me to get involved.

I think it just needs someone with a bit of vision and some investment collateral and it could be a good money spinner.

Not sure how you'd make your money back tbh - it needs to be a labour of love - unless you are going to offer training days and so on...

There's no money in charging people to ride it and the £20k asking price isn't the end of it - then you've got to buy all the other 'stuff' plus you'll be paying the forestry commission for the lease.

If you are a past pro rider looking for a job then this is an opportunity - otherwise it needs 200 people to create a club and all chip in to buy it and run it...
