Hey guys, Does anyone know what Benfleet motorcross track is like for a messaround at the moment? Have heard it hasnt been used much lately by the motocross riders thanks to the weather, but other then that, not heard all that much about it at all! |

I went there in the "summer" and it was the worst sticky clay crap I've ever ridden through, if the ground freezes you may be ok but there's not much there to be honest Sent using the force... |

Never been there. You can try Wickford action park right next to the A127. Although it may well be closed due to weather this weekend. |

Action Park is accessed if you join the A127 from the A130 and turn left into a Farm almost immediately after the slip road, its all motorsport though, not sure what reception you'd get if you turned up on a MTB ? The Benfleet MX track is a small loop type affair pretty rubbish without an engine but having said that it would be ok for clocking up some time in the seat without having to go too far, but there is nothing to challenge you 9unless someone has built some jumps ? |

No one's ever there unless it's a weekend, is kinda what appeals to me. Somewhere to get some jumps in without being in full view when I land flat on my face! But yeah, expected it to be boggy too. Might take a ride down there when the weather warms up a little. I know for certain there's at least one ok-sized tabletop over there and not on the track, but just the other side of the fence there's a tiny little trail with some jumps on. Never seen people over there, either. |

Really ?! i've never seen it, i used to ride the BMX track there as a kid / teen until the animal sanctuary grew into it, good to know there is something so local, even if its small, will definately take a look when the weather clears up, somewhere i still have my official membership card to Benfleet kickstart club LOL

Another place to explore is over back of morrissons on canvey I used to rider mx er over there & there's a bit of a pit right round the back as well not been round there for years but worth exploring when weather gets better !! |
