I can tell you now because I had one on the yeti, it makes climbing a bit easier and you can use a higher gear than you would normally. Crusing on the flat is where it's awesome. Sent from my D6603 using Tapatalk |

Been using one on the banshee for a while now, would highly recommend. Does not make pedaling easier as such, just makes it smoother which in turn makes it easier for technical or rocky climbs if that makes sence. It's only when you go back to a round ring you notice the difference. |

So am I right in thinking that if I have a 32T now, I would want a 34T oval? |

* 32T oval ring will suit best someone who uses 31 or 32T chainring currently. While pedaling, you will feel similar effort to the one riding round 31T ring, but you will gain the speed similar to riding 34T chainring. |

I have ridden the 34T and 34T oval for a while (on same bike), it is easiler but would still say stick with current size you use, always welcome to come and have a go |

Got a play with one when i was at afan a few weeks back, interesting to see how the gear sizes effects riding eg normal do most of the climbing in the 36T biggest ring, so the 40T and 34T two gears will be interesting |
