Will check with work in the morning. Better check my bank account too, as Tony needs £180 to confirm booking.

Only just saw this, I'm booked in with Tony for a 4hr 1:1 on 19th April - and my work is paying for it as one of our yearly 'perks'

I'll be up for a group session again maybe May depending on how far we get in the 1:1.

Dont knock it till you've tried it - you will see enough feedback around that suggests he is worth every penny (mine included).

Its all relative - He works out about 20 quid an hour....Any form of training is more than you think amigo...Compare it to...

Ski lessons which are 30-50 quid an hour
Wanna learn to pole dance - http://www.poledancingschool.com £52.50 an hour ;) hahahaha

etc etc etc

Tbh, before i had my first training session with Tony, I was a tad apprehensive with the price
But I can tell you it is worth every penny, the skills he teaches you, allows you to progress with you riding so much further!
100% recommend

Jon - £50+ to learn how to spin round a pole!!! I'd much rather buy some new bars

Cool steve, how is it looking

6th looks okay. But one thing - what are you and Noel looking to get out of the day?

For me, I really want to be trying some doubles by the end of the session. I'm pretty confident on jumps - until I see a gap and then it becomes a mind thing and I lose the confidence (I guess because I can't give it a slow try first to judge the take-off before committing). I'm sure once I start doing some I'll be fine.

You just described my aim aswell,
Just want to be able to commit to Gaps and larger drops!!

This is why I'm doing a 1:1 first before I join in a group session - I'm a bit behind in skills, a bit new, but I'm hoping to learn a lot in 4hrs ;)

Im sure its well worth it, but go up your local trails and ask people! They will more than happy to help you for free!!

I get plenty of help when I go out, but you can't beat a 1:1 session when you REALLY want to learn how to do something right and not pick up others bad habits.

I suppose the other thing is that Herts Shore is purpose made from what I can gather so it has everything just waiting there for you to learn on - it's like having all your toys in one place as far as I'm concerned. I'll report back and let you know how it goes.

I wouldnt mind doing another session with tony, after having to bail half way through the first one due to ilness (may get a discount because i payed for a full day and only did half lol). i can only do daytime the following 2 weeks seeing as its end of term on 8th.
