The pack I've got already is too large for cycling. I use it t carry my spares to wherever then dump it while I ride. I need a pack that fits a 2l bladder and a few spares. there's nowhere nearby to go see sizes hence why I'm asking here. All I want to carry is the bladder, multi tool, inner tube, spare links etc..... So I've looked on CRC but can't work out whether a 11L or 20L is better suited. I don't want a pack that will feel noticeable when riding or a pain to be wearing... What does everyone else use? Is it worth spending the extra £££ on the more expensive bags etc.... http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/ospr ... -prod76717 http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/daki ... -prod90797 http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/cube ... -prod92704 So do I go for a 10L or 20L??? Cheers |

I like the osprey one but I would like a little bit more room. I use a decathlon one from their mountain climbing section, loads of space and separate bladder section and really useful side pockets like the osprey. Fraction of the cost though sent from my non apple product |

I've got a dakine nomad which I think is 20 liters and I can get pads a bit of food spares tools first aid and a riding jacket in it just. It's good for long days out as while not over stuffed it'll take everything. That said If it's just as a bladder and spares pouch for running loops with I'd go with 10 liters. |

Using a Deuter Race at the moment, only 10L but due to the shape can fit in the bare essentials - water, multitool, spare tube, light rain jacket, 661 Kyle Straight kneepads. Bit of a squeeze though. Mesh side pockets can hold a 500ml water bottle either side. I actually cut off the waist belt as it bugged me. Also Decathlon always worth a look. |

I've just trawled thorugh Decathlon and found a couple of good bags. However once you had the hydration bladder onto there not much cheaper than buying an Osprey. I ended up ordering this off of wiggle http://www.wiggle.co.uk/dhb-luggit-slice-15l-rucksack/ Not sure about quality but it was within what i wanted to spend. Not the £70-80 that similar bags seem to be. I'll let you know if I end up keeping it or sending it back. |

I looked at that one. I always go to Decathlon when I go out to my mates in France. I think the prices are better out there. I've still got a trusty pair of gloves I got for 6 euros which I wear for riding still VW-surfbum wrote: This is my one, it comes with a bladder.

I have one of these which i use daily on my commute http://www.decathlon.co.uk/reverse-free ... 82808.html its capacity is handy as you can fit a lid in it too. It doesn't come with a bladder but you can pop one in it if you like as it has a section for it. Nice and robust if a little oTT on the number of straps but it gives you little elastic tie downs which mean you can tuck them away. |

http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/came ... -prod86716 http://www.decathlon.co.uk/camelbak-mul ... 49120.html I've got the camelback mule that I actually got from decathlon as it was cheaper there than anywhere else. Top large all day bag which is well designed , useable fetchers and comfortable to ride on your back with. I know 3-4 other people with one so must be alright. Did originally go in to decathlon to replace my old decathlon pack (which I was very happy with and had had for 3 years) but they had changed the bladder design making it cheap feeling and the other expensive packs were not well designed with lots of small pockets rather than one large + a few small pockets for storing valuables. |

Cheers Everyone. Ended up getting an Osprey 13L with 3L bladder from tredz for £55 so happy days. Also ordered a pair of these to try out http://fiveten.com/products/footwear-de ... -brick-red Weathers lovely today. Wish my bike service had been finished so I could get out over Danbury for the weekend. |
