For the standard Saris bones it states:

My last rear carrier wasnt supposed to fit either but it did and it had 3 bikes on at times...No problems...

And here are loads of cars with rear spoilers ..Ok they are american but netherless ...Its a generalisation to say they wont fit cos there are all sorts of spoilers..https://www.google.com/search?q=saris+b ... B550%3B255

Yeah but this is the manufacturer saying it won't fit to a specific car. Surely it's in their interest to get the info right otherwise anyone checking would skip buying a Saris if their car had a spoiler.
If you were closer I'd say come and check with my red 3 cycle Bones. Or you could buy online and just send it back under the 7 day distance selling rule if it doesn't fit.
