Steel 456 or carbon? i found the carbon one very stiff? the acceleration and the stiffness of the wheels are amazing, what hubs did you go for? i have the Novatec's and would recommend all day long. |

I've got a steel 456.... sort of why I'm surprised at the difference. Mind you 26" vs 27.5" too so probably more of the whole package rather than one specific thing making the difference. Novatec hubs for me too |

I wasn't looking for one of these specifically, just had an eye open for an 'interesting' XC frame when this popped up. They get good reviews and for the cost I wasn't going to give it too much thought The sizing / profiling of the tubes has obviously had a lot of thought and the build quality isn't bad considering it's cost new. Paint / lacquer is a bit on the thick side and obviously chips fairly easily. Nice frame really |
