Does look good :). Often thought of doing my Avalanche like that, but for now its just that, a thought :)

Thanks :) It would be a good project to do. Ultimately i did enjoy mine, just really hated the paint stripping. Probably best to pay a company to strip and anodize it rather than do it all by hand.

Cheers! :) Just dont buy a GT. Doing the huge welds that GT always have and the area around the small triangle are a pain in the arse!

Had to get some new bars as the make do ones were horrible. Image
And because of the new bars in had to visit and actual shop and buy a stem.

Then after some very muddy xc rides I gave it a clean! Image
Now to decide whether or not to keep her or sell her? If I keep her I gotta get rid of the fox flexible forks.

You didnt build it up that long ago, and youre considering getting rid of it already, thats cold hearted! :D

Looks great with the carbon bars and pro stem. I like that sticker on the top tube of the guy drifting.

I think it's standard on the frame that sticker?
I'm only considering it? The stable is quite full so considering selling this one or the fatty?

Get rid of the fatty so you can get the carbon On-One fatty when it comes out ;)

As No1 has discovered that going faster is fun, just ordered some upgrades for the drive train.
1 new 11-36 cassette
Chain
Pair of X5 shifters
And my old XO rear mech.

Now to order some new grips, black and pink or red and black???

Post subject:  Re: Project bikes

Assuming the grips are for #1 then black & pink.

We went with spiked pink grips and normal pink clamps, I wanted the black and neon pink, I suppose I should let her choose some things :?
