Just an advanced ask if there is many who know Swinley routes well, and would be up for showing me and a couple of mates around. Could possibly be on a weekday, or maybe a weekend.

It's (badly ) signposted and you can pick up a map at the visitor center.

As the trails are man made it's a lot easier than Epping to find your way ;)

As said the signing is patchy in places, and its a bit disjointed. So many times you will hit a fireroad at the end of a section with no obvious route (particularly the reds) and there are no signs so you can easily head the wrong way and miss out loads of sections. On the plus side the sandy soil drains really well. Last went on august bank holiday in the mother of all rain storms.

They have some diversions in place as well so signposts are even more rubbish, just wish they would sort it out as its such a good place and flows really well.
