Do you use the bike wash facilities at trail centres? They tend to be pressure washers. Thought these were a big "no no" for cleaning bikes? |

Usually just hoses, certainly not high pressure (not the ones i've used anyway) |

The ones at Thetford are pressure washer type. I used it on both bikes on Sunday, probably a bad idea? |

Just be careful around the bearings, do it from distance and at a right angle to the seals and it should be ok. Its a good idea to get some muc off or wizard wash on it before hand, so ur not trying to blast the mud off. |

It removes everything dampen the bike spray on leave for 5 then rinse off |

No paint but five minutes is the recommended but I've left it on for longer when the kids have gone nuclear with no issues |

It's also very good at breaking up the oil from spills on concrete when doing a car oil change |
