Been going to evans for years now for bit and bobs but finally decided to purchase a bike from them back in November and ever since then they have been pushing the date back right up until 7/02/15
just curious on everyones veiws really, cheers guys

I take it you have paid for the bike, if you haven't then they really must be having trouble getting hold of it. you could tell them you will take your business elsewhere, or see if any other shops can get the bike sooner and hit them with that maybe. |

Yeah they took the money in full, i managed to get a free pair of enve bars out of them after spending so much. Evans are the only UK stockist of Norco which makes it even more frustrating as i cant tell them to stuff it haha! rung them tonight as the date changed again and the guys attitude was awful, like 'if it comes in it comes in if not it'll change again' and seemed not to give a toss :/ i just want to rideeee!!!!

You could try Norco customer services with an email, just lay it on thick about how you have waited for that bike above all the others out there on the market, but it looks like you may have to go with another brand etc etc. They may be able to shed some light on why its taking so long at least. |

I had a problem like that, I had to wait 12 weeks, I complained and they got a selection of other bikes they had in stock with a discount to try, got £400 off in the end on a Cannondale F3. |

They was going to give me vouchers but i stupidly scrapped them and got the bars out of them instead but now they have done it again im going to push for more money as well as the bars! Cheers stev-o i cant wait! think thats why im so frustrated, all i wanna so is ride haha Was thinking of getting a free jacket out of them too, anyone got any opinions on the endura MT500? heard mixed reviews? Cheers guys!

I've had loads of stuff from Evans over the years including bikes (their click and collect and price match service is also top notch) and never had any issues. |

Neither have i up until now, to be fair on Evans they are only telling me what Norco is telling them. just hope they can get it too me a bit quicker! |

Evans Cycles they great  Some years back I ordered something that was in stock only to be told a week later wasn't in stock in the end they gave me a voucher for a 1K  maybe just to get rid of me and my daily moaning emails.

Dude, talk to norco, cos they cancelled production of the 2014 range carbon as they had a problem with the frames. Took them off the shelves to redesign them for 2015. I'm guessing you've ordered the 2015 version? |

I bought a Norco Sight 1 a couple of years ago from Evans. After a few months a crack appeared in the frame and then spent a nightmare 4 months dealing with Evans customer services....useless! Eventually got a replacement but won't buy a bike from them again. Incidentally I am selling the bike when my new one is built. |
