Can you recommend any good bike shops, in Chiswick daytime Hornchurch when not at work. Seems local ones to me don't have great on the shelf selection but will get stuff in. Looking to buy a helmet.

Very few places hold a great deal of stock.

Do what we all do... order 10 from CRC and keep the 1 or 2 you like...

Best thing to so is check the size guide on CRC and measure your head, order the one they say will fit.if it doesn't fit do a return/exchange form and send it back and get the next size up or down.

On a side note, I was a bit worried when I heard Stanley Bridge Cycles in Waltham Abbey was closing down. The guy in there was one of the more trustworthy people to have work on your bike that I've come across. Called them up yesterday to make a part enquiry and happily got through to him. He has moved the Cheshunt branch and not left, so will be visiting there for more technical work in the future.

So again, nowhere near you, but Sanley Bridge Cycles in Cheshunt is worth a trip, but possibly not for the helmet selection.

Cheers fella's, I've ordered a 7 iDP M2 and an ixs trail RS to try. Just got an email that the 7s out of stock, the louder colours don't float my boat! So need alternatives in the up to £70 trail style.

It don't fit all heads but the Urge Enduro is a really comfortable lid if it fits your head shape; http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/urge-endur-o-matic-helmet-2016/rp-prod124628
