Hi there, Looking to get my first mtb hardtrail. I have been advised between Trek X caliber 9 and Specialised chisel comp x1, which bike is better for cross-country and has better specs? Many thanks David |

Neither are on my radar, but a quick google reveals very similar bikes. Think would go for the Trek as its 12 speed vs 11, rest appear much of a muchness, sitting on them may help separate them further. Hope that helps |
